It is because we are quietly contented at being from the south, and unlike Yorkshire people, we don't feel the need to continuously drone on about how great it is where we come from.

You normally find that the people who are in the pub discussing what a great time they are having, aren't.

Just got back from Barcelona and spent last night with Scottish, Irish, Geordies, Welsh, the whole caboodle, and had a boss laugh, so the bottom line is its the person not the place that matters,
