Calis/Fethiye 1st Timers - You MUST do this...

Jukebox... yes indeed! i must admit that both Atilla at the Cafe Oley and Mehmet at the DBB are both long time friends of mine, however i wasn't particularly advertising on their behalf [they don't need it anyway] both are just fine places to chill out.
Mehmet and i have just spent a month travelling around thailand... a good man without any doubt!

you MUST buy lots of herbs from the market then get them home and forget 6 months later which is which . So you MUST label them when you get home!

You must take a walk up throught the ruins of the amphitheatre and find yourself a picnic bench to sit at and take in the view of Fethiye Bay, then walk along the road for a little while and mingle with the locals, perhaps trying out the Turkish you may have learned before coming out or picked up whilst in Turkey.  It all seems so tranquil up there!

You must go to gocek and go across the bay on the freebe steam boat and visit one of,if not the best turkish baths in turkey.Walk around the bay and take in the many boats moored up and the pretty flowers all the way around the bay.This place is across the bay from gocek and theres a fantastic resturant there andl but quaint beach,recommended.

You must have a meal in the Bogazici restaurant on the promenade between Calis and Fethiye at the Fethiye end. Lovely views, perfect sunsets and delicious food.!!!
