Spending money ?   It depends how many clothes, jewellery, leather and carpet shops you intend to visit !!!

We are finding that things are more and more expensive.  My tip would be to shop at the markets for fruit and veg and that will save you a considerable amount of money.  Eating out - some of the best restaurants are in fact the local turkish restaurants - which cost a fraction of the sea-front 'posher' places to eat.  What ever your budget you will be able to find an eating place to suit it !  My 14 year old is happy with kebabs from Fethiye for £2.00 a time !  Have fun. ;) :)

Of course I do not mean every day, I was just giving an example that there is a possiblty to do this.
Maybe it is a litle different for me as I plan to live in Calis at some stage of my life and would obviously be living on a budget also would not go out every night like you tend to whilst on holiday.
Efes disgusting I only wish I thought it was!

davey if you read my firt post again you will see i say thats for 3 people. Anyone can see if theres an extra person more money will be needed and i did not say that it would work for four either it was just an example.
I did also say that trips can be expensive so if you want to do them to bring alot more.

Hi we have three children and two adults an dusualy budget £100 perday.  This mean breakfast in the villa and lunch by the pool and them a meal in Calis in a restaurant.   Also our kids are 10, 6 and 5 and we are there from 24th july for 4 weeks so if your kids need someone to play with feel free to get in touch.

This may be a daft question as it is different for everyone but could anyone give me an idea how much spending money to bring?  We are a family of four (2 kids ages 8 and 11 and then big one of 41 - yes you guessed it that's hubby!) and of course me.  We are self catering but always eat out.  This will be our first time to Turkey (31st July for 14 days) and after all the lovely welcomes I received yesterday from forum members and all the info I have gleaned already feel like that I know Calis already.

For the last five years we have been away where the euro has been the currency and noticed that each year we needed that bit more.  Any advice you could give would be appreciated!
