They sell booze in the Seckin.

Thanks for the Megri info, will give it a try in 5 weeks time! I have past it loads of times but always thought it looked quite posh (expensive)

Thought they did - Nick likes it there and wouldn't if they didn't sell beer.[^]

In the days when we frequented OD lokanta we were having a beer at lunchtime when we had our beer taken away from us and put out of sight. One of the owners told us the tax inspectors had pulled up in a minibus just across the road and he was not licensed to sell beer. The inspectors then drove away and we were given our beer back.[?]:D

Seckin for me everytime. Staff are great with the kids and food is aways good.Love it in the winter when  it is cosy with the burner and in summer it's great to sit outside and watch the world go by It's also within staggering distance of our apartment!

I used to really like the Birlik cafe in Fethiye (near the fish market) but they knocked it down and built shops which to my knowledge are still standing empty. I have not seen the business surface elswhere. The Turkish rice pudding was lovely.

Anyone who bought from BNA a few years ago will have been there, it was where Nick & Aysun used to take people after signing the deal.

The staff were really good, it seems a common theme with Lokanta staff, I wonder why?

The Birlik reappeared at the roundabout in Akarca. Opened, then soon disappeared. It was another great Lokanta in Fethiye.
