Live just outside Liverpool.  City came to a standstill this morning no buses at all!  Managed to get to work yesterday and today (got off early both days) but crawling down the M62 at 30mph yesterday in full blizzard was scary!  Parked the car on the driveway tonight about 6pm and had to dig it out at half past.  Nice to see it come but better to see it go!  The nice thing about it tho is that the kids and the bigger kids are luvvin it!

Its like a ghost town here tonight, not a bus in sight, and the odd car passing by, hope it vanishes as quick as it came, apparently Liverpool council have run out of grit, (typical) been great watching the kids on the hills opposite, but even they were all gone early far too cold, dont think we are equipped to deal with this weather.

Blimey, it's a comparatively balmy -7.1C here, not a cloud in the sky and that sun that doesn't melt anything.

The inside of my bedroom window was iced up this morning in South Manchester, not seen that since I was achild and we didn't have central heating.

Buses are running Jen, though not all, I have just bought a big bag of smart price cat litter from the asda to do the path £1.45, does the trick, and the kids are on the hills again having a ball, heard its gonna snow again tonight,  the main roads are ok, but the side streets are a big no no,glad to be back indoors.

Already down to -7 here! Went to the local Knowsley Council grit depot earlier to try and get a bucketful of grit to clear mum's (who is 84) path, what a surprise I got turned away!  The security man said "Its like gold and even I can't take a handful out of here"!
The kids are even getting bored with it now.  The good place to be a kid is, if anyone knows it Camp Hill in Woolton.
For any scousers out there who want a laugh go on the Echo website and join the snow blog - better than the telly
