Hi, I'm joining the 'Losing weight' post!
I started Slimming WOrld last week, I went to weigh in last night, and lost a measly one and a half pound! (Other people lost 2,3,4 lb)Now I am a sweeet tooth greedy person who eats chocolate, sometimes with breakfast dinner and tea! Not a piece has passed my lips, even at easter! I have cut all my sugar out.
I have eaten healthily all week, my only downfall I think is not eating enough veg. I will on it this week!
I think I have a slow metabolism, as when I joined last year, (for 2 months!)I was losing small amounts at first, and the 4th week it really came off.
Any tips anyone? :-\

Hi Jenny, I've been going for a few weeks now, and like you, the weight is coming off  r e a l l y   slowly!!!  :(  Just a pound a week, whilst my friend lost 8lbs last week (she's lost almost two and a half stones in about 11 weeks - so unfair!!)   8)

I'm sticking with it and eating loads - mainly stir frys, jacket potatoes, salads, lots of fruit, yoghurts etc.   ;)

I'm really enjoying the diet and feel much better in myself, despite only losing half a stone in about six weeks (though I did have a break for almost two weeks as it was our daughter's 21st birthday; went to Calis for a short break, then straight back to my friend's wedding!  AND I only put on half a pound, so that was really good.)   :)

Stick with it; I'm sure it'll pay off in the end!  We'll be the skinny  ones, showing off our lovely tans in the summer (in my dreams anyway!)   8)

Hey ladies well I lost 3lbs this week so i was very happy, not quite the 4lbs i put on last week but least the majority is off. Jenny it will happen hun it just sometimes takes time like you said for it to come off, and if you dont have alot to come off it will come off slowly. I only have a stone to loose and since christmas ive lost 8lbs! because i loose for 3 weeks then on the 4th week i gain and im in a cycle like that but it does work and it will happen, i know what you mean though as my friend has lost 2 stone in about 9 weeks, shes doing brilliantly. Keep at it ladies and well done, any loss is great. Remember to write down what your eating every day i find that really helps me! xxxx

My fat club manager made a good comment, she said if you look at how long it took to put on all the weight dont expect to loose it in a couple of months, if you loose a pound a week most weeks that is when it will stay off if you keep eating healthy and stick to your plan.

Hi
sorry I've not posted but as you appreciate things have been difficult.  My brothers wife had a breakdown last Tuesday after the funeral.  She is now in hospital in a fairly bad way.  As you can appreciate dieting is the last thing on my mind so I'm expecting a gain when I go to weigh in tomorrow.  Just hope its not too much
