I get the impression that quite a few people like McDonalds. I decided that based on a number of factors, one being their 31,000 restaurants and another being their 47 million customers daily :D

Over the last 30 years we, the wife and I, and our son when he was with us, came to enjoy a Mac Cheeseburger once a month.
Why, not because, for me, it was great but because it was consistant.
Just now and again I didn't want to battle over maybe it was to spicy, or bad qauality, I just wanted something that tasted the same .

Bad policy, maybe, but the other half does it here in Doha to, just once a month but she enjoys it.
So who am I to say no.

Steve

We all know how popular fast food is, you only have to look at childhood obesity which
is out of control in both American and the U.K.

As there are no herds of cattle in the area, where will all the beef come for the burgers?
I did read on this website a while ago that beef was being imported from China.
I suppose the reason why burgers in places around Calis are thin is the cost of
beef, which seems to be more expensive than other meats due to the lack of beef cattle.
