Hi Vixter73, if you see an add like that, please click on it and copy the link, then email the link to Scunner, he will then be able to block it. I see them pop up regularly as well, I think even when they're blocked, the do find their way back sometimes.. unfortunately... thanks!

The stall was still there last night outside the mosque, with a video playing and a board stating "swim with Misha and Tom". I took a couple of photos and reported it to the Zabita who told me that unless he offered to sell me a ticket or I actually bought a ticket then he wasn't doing anything illegal and there was nothing that they could do. Obviously I couldn't then enquire about tickets as he had seen me taking photos, but if somebody is willing to enquire and obtain evidence that they are selling tickets to swim with Tom and Misha and could show that evidence to the Zabita perhaps they may do something!

Some 2nd and 3rd hand info:

Apparently yesterday evening a guy called Savaş from the Dolphinarium came to our office and told someone I work with, that
'we want to put the Dolphins in the sea, but we can't because they have been eating dead fish for 7 years and would'nt survive'.

A very nice Austrian Girl called Christine was also present, she is a Marine Bioligist working with the Caretta Turtles in Calis etc., she says this is not true, Dolphins are very adaptable and can be re-introduced into the wild quite easily. I have an email address for Christine, or somebody from Calis may know her.  Christine also said, she is trying to organise a hand written rather than internet petition as many people in Calis want to sign something while on holiday and have no internet access.

Iwould like to be able to sign a paper format petition.  I had emailed all relevent persons and I emailed the mayor of London as a lot of Londonders are of Turkish rigin also himself. My first reply is that it did not concern the Mayor and a full page on what the Mayor of London does.  I replied basically explaining that I am not thick and and aware of what he does and still insist he can talk to the people at the Turkish Embassy. Fingers crossed.: :)

If you go onto facebook and join the FREE THE OLU DENIZ DOLPHINS page - go onto the discussions board and there is a petition there created by Caroline Gillings which you can print off yourself :)

It looks like we have other Russian businessmen who think nothing of harming animals in promoting greed. This group parasailed a donkey over a beach promoting their business link here http://uk.news.yahoo.com/5/20100720/twl-donkey-is-forced-to-parasail-over-be-3fd0ae9.html:-\

I watched that film "The Cove" as you suggested and was really shocked to hear the allegations that the Japanese government are covering up the fact that Dolphin meat is being sold falsely labelled and contains a high mercury content. How could anyone allow that to happen considering what mercury does to produce disabled children? :o
