Any that don't advertise 'Swimming with Dolphins' PLEASE!!
Just to be on the safe side maybe ask the question whether or not they can they arrange it?  If they say 'YES' please WALK AWAY!!

It might be easier to say who has said won't sell tickets to the Dolphinarium

Confirmed local travel agents who have said they will not sell tickets for this Dolphinarium so far are:

1. Cadianda

2. Carole & Tayfun

3. Activities Unlimited

4. Hamish McTurk has since confirmed (after initially saying he would be) that he does not intend to sell tickets.

Many of the local tour operators have yet to reply to the many emails sent to them about this - so you will need to draw your own conclusions about them

Most of the big tour operators are refusing to have anything to do with this at all.

Is there any sign of the 'Russian'?

Just a question which has always been at the back of my mind?
Are there any facilities at the 'Puddle'?  Are there any toilet facilities?  Anywhere that people can get changed?  Anywhere that people can actually sit while they are there?  (Misguided that they may be)?  If not how can a licence be given?  Surely under Turkish law, facilities on 'Site' are a MUST! for any trip like this?  Is that where Nadia-s comes into the equation?  Would you have to buy a drink to 'Spend a penny'?

I am sure people in the locality can comment on whether these facilities could ever exist?.

We have been coming to Turkey for over 20 years, gone on numerous trips but have never encountered anything like these conditions not only for the dolphins but for humans as well!

We have all seen the pictures!  All read the newspapers!  All read the postings on numerous websites!
Looking back 'Was this ever feasable?'[?] or 'Could it ever be feasable?'  Personally I don't think so!

Have looked at the other sites who offer trips for swimming with dolphins in Turkey and there is nothing as disgraceful as this!

I just hope that the people, Turks or ex-pats who live in the area do not have to pay the 'Price'!

The Russian has a contract!

My own personal point of view is that with the bad press these ventures are now receiving, no International tour company will promote it as one of their trips etc these places are on their way out!!
It does sound good the way it is promoted by local tour operators (They also need to make a crust!) which is why these places still exist!

There is more to this than meets the eye for me!

There are toilets and a couple of other out buildings.

There is no sign at all that any work to the site has been done in the past week.

It is however easy enough to knock up a couple of structures that could be used for whatever is needed.

Whether they would meet the standards required for food preparation, medical attention for the Dolphins - there is no separate pool for this at the present although a wave of the arm indicated something would be built over there somewhere when we asked...

In the meantime we wait to see what happens next.

Rest assured though NO Dolphins are coming while the pool and its surrounds look like they do.

Pool visited this evening.
There is work being done on the toilet block with new ones being installed in the newly decorated original building.

The subsidence seems to be worsening around the perimeter in two places, with any luck the whole thing will dissapear down its own black hole!!

Rumours have it that he is going to continue buisiness in Kas for the intermediate time.

This means that tickets for Kas will be back on sale to the tourists. The only good thing about the disgraceful dolphinarium in Kas, is that it is the sea!

However, because work on the toilet block is taking place, we must assume that the Russian is living in hope of opening the Hisaronu pool!

Therefore, we have to continue to find which travel agents will, or will not be supporting this buisiness.

No tickets equals no dolphinarium!

Perhaps those of you, out there, who have have been saddened by the conditions at Kas, may feel now is the time to voice their complaints to the authorities about their experience.

Obviously previous other comments on this and other sites are being monitored constantly by the Russian and his entourage!
I wonder how much money he will spend to achieve his aim of opening this disgrace of a 'Therapy pool'?
Could it be that every shortfall we point out and he fixes will bring him nearer to achieving his aim?
I sincerely hope that the subsidence continues and he goes down with it!
