"Dolphinarium plans create major protest"

Drove past the 'pool' this afternoon.  People in the pool with the Dolphins (hope they didn't pay : :))  If they did then that is totally illegal and, of course, very unsafe healthwise as the water is unfit for humans.
If anyone feels brave enough (and their face isn't known) could they approach the 'pool' and ask to swim.  (I couldn't because was in a group) If told 'yes' ask to see licence (!!) and THE PUBLIC INSURANCE certificate to swim with Dolphins.  THEN report them to the Zabita.  £50.00 for a packet of crisps is a tad expensive.
They CANNOT LEGALLY SELL TICKETS (or illegally for that matter: :).)
And, of course, post here :D

i went past the pool at 6.30 turkish time, today thursday, and the pool area was open...no one was in the pool at the time...but i guess if the pool area is open then people could be offered the chance to swim with the dolphins...cant quite understand this.....if there is no license, the water has been tested, and found not fit for humans to be in....how can the park still be open....beggers belief to me!!!!!

Hey AndrewR, which dolphinarium are you targeting at the moment? Let me know if there is anything I can do. I have a group for ALL captive dolphins on facebook, so feel free to post anything there to bring the plight of those dolphins to everyone's attention! I also have a website where I can post something on. Let me know! The group is:

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/2/urgent-please-help-save-these-2-dolphins

The website:

www.voice4captivedolphins.me

Great job you're doing! Perhaps more of us can write the dolphinarium you are targeting and perhaps we can get that inspection asap!

Take care,
Carina x
