I think I said at the start of the season that Manu would regret selling Tevez. Well now it's come home to roost - they have relied too much on Rooney this season and he played tonight even though he was already carrying an injury.

He will now probably miss the game on Saturday and the second leg.

Meanwhile Tevez scored 3 goals last night and is on 25 for the season.

Blimey Stoop, the way you talk about Tevez you would think Man U have played with only 10 men each game since he left. They do put another player in to replace him. Also strange how United depend on Rooney too much but Tevez with his 25 goals isn't relied upon to much by City?

Tevez is now a big fish in a small pond, a scoring one true, but not having Tevez is a bit like throwing away your toe clippings. Great while they were yours but totally useless to to you if you don't now own them. Good luck to the man, a cracking player but he is not our player so, so what! let's see how many medals he collects this season.

Bayern were excellent in attack last night, can't wait for Wednesday. Looked bad for Rooney, gonna be gutted if he's out for the rest of our season but these things happen. I'm sure United will pull something out of the bag and I'd take the draw now on Saturday, anything but a loss.

Yes - they replace him with Burbatuf or whatever his name is. Also I never said City didn't rely on Tevez did I?

Well, you said United relied on Rooney too much and didn't say that City relied on Tevez too much  :)

Watched Eamonn Holmes on Sky New after the Liverpool match saying  where would Liverpool be without Torres? (Pot kettle I thought).   Then this morning Eamonn is panicking that Rooney will not be fit for the weekend... Where will M.U. be without their best player?
Always pleases me no end to hear the M.U. supporters shouting the name of their
adored born and bred Scouse top scoring champion.
