Good to see the sky over Bristol criss-crossed with vapour trails first thing this morning.

Yes, let's get back to destroying the planet! Maybe the Icelandic volcano ash cloud was a massive outpouring of grief, from the very core of the dying planet itself. Or maybe not :D

Its humanities ability to survive on the planet that we are destroying. The earth itself has always recovered from cataclysms. ;)

just spoken to Cyprus Turkish and are told they may be able to get us home on Friday (one week beyond original departure date).  Awaiting a confirmation call - thank god its pay day on friday !  Fingers crossed folks.  I didnt ever think I would moan about being stuck in Turkey - but when you have commitments (work / pets etc) at home you cant help but stress about it.   Hopefully we will be home for the weekend.

I'll mention that to my brother- and sister-in-law who hope to start their Egyptian holiday tomorrow. They may wish to discuss the core of the dying planet while they are waiting for their flight to be confirmed.

Just spoke to Easyjet for a friend, and was told, flight to London will be on time tonight. But they told to call 5 hours before flight, just in case.
