KTHY Flights suspended

This is so worrying - I have checked the money saver site that Tribalelder suggested but surely we are not in a position to reclaim the cost of the KTHY fares until they actually confirm they are no longer trading.  It is a mess, as we have no idea whether the same time flights will apply in September - they cannot expect people to just turn up at the airport in the hope that there might be a KTHY/Atlas jet flight going.  I will phone my credit card company tomorrow and see what they say but I don't hold out much hope as surely they will say that KTHY has not ceased trading.

basically they have us by the short and curlies. I know what you mean...that surely they cannot expect us to just turn up at the airport...but I think thats their way of ensuring that most of us will book alternative flights, and the few that dont will be accommodated on the flights. and those of us that book elsewhere, dont have any way then to reclaim any money, as we have not turned up at the airport in the first instance!!! i have flights booked for October as well as July...as yet I have not done anythng about that one and am going to watch carefully what happens in the meantime.

Now here is an intersting thought for the credit card compnies. In the short term KTHY flights are being handled by Atlas who on their website say holders of valid KTHY tickets(I am refering here to Dalaman/UK) should turn up at the airport and they will be allocated any available seats on an Atlas flight.  Now according to the said website Atlas do not fly from Dalaman to the UK so how can you get an allocated seat on a non existant flight[?][xx(]

Some friends of mine in the UK who have kthy flights booked for Sept have told me that they have been in contact with Atlasjet and the reply was.......they hope to be taking over the kthy slot times from the uk soon. Still remains to be seen when (or IF) this will happen!!!!

Thats great M-T ! I'm sure we'll all appreciate whatever news you have. Of course the main concern for us is whether this will be resolved with the flights that we have booked and paid for months ago actually flying to Dalaman on the appointed date. If not what recourse do we have ? Good luck
