I understand what you're saying peecee. It really isn't the office staff's fault, but, the trouble is, there is no reply when we try to ring kthy, and the credit card companies are not prepared to cough up because the company hasn't actually gone bust. If they went into administration, it would be easier for all of us (including their staff, who would then be able to move on - it appears that they haven't been paid for months) as we could then claim our money back.
A lot of us work all year and struggle to pay for a nice summer holiday. It's pretty annoying to throw hundreds of pounds away on something that you don't actually then receive. My summer holiday is the highlight of the year - I work in a school, but as support staff, so receive no pay for the 13 weeks a year "holiday" we are forced to take (not that I'm complaining - I love the time off; it fits in with my busy family life, and it's been my choice to work there!). It's pretty annoying though to suddenly lose the holiday that we have struggled to pay for.
Like most other people, I have a massive mortgage - I now have a massive credit card bill too!!
I also feel sorry for the staff who are left in the office to face the public - it's really not fair on them. The trouble is - we want some answers, and these poor people have been left to hold the fort. (By the way, if there are people still working in their office, they must be getting paid - you wouldn't carry on going into work for nothing!) They may be able to answer some of our questions, and for those of us who have lost money, it would be nice to know where we go from here.
