KTHY Flights suspended

The really frustrating thing about this situation is that we are not being told anything by KTHY - We have gone onto the Atlas jet site, but their flights do not appear to go to Dalaman. I just wish KTHY or AtlasJet would confirm our Stansted to Dalaman flight in September is not going, then we can get a refund via our credit card and rebook.  Instead of which we are just in limbo - the information on KTHY and Atlas Jet is not clear. Apparently someone in the same position as us spoke on Radio Essex this morning so perhaps they will help to get things moving. I guess we carry on waiting until something (hopefully soon) is confirmed one way or the other.

I know of quite a few people who are due to fly from gatwick to dalamn with Kthy in the next couple of weeks...they have been told that they will be reissued with tickets for the atlasjet flights. I hope for their sakes that there will be "seats available"...as i still do not trust it all...

Sue mac - do you know who is telling these people that they will be re-issued with tickets for the Atlasjet flights ?   Presumably the replacement flights are going to Dalaman rather than Antalya ?

the flights at the moment are to/from Manchester/stansted To Antalya.
Thay are trying to transfer your tickets to atlasjet and re issue you new tickets... BUT you have to get in touch with your kthy flught details... That take a copy, email head office, wait fir confermation to transfer ( about 2 days) and then re issue the new tickets.... Hence being BOOKED onto the new flight, rather than turning up at the airport and hoping there us a flight/ seat for you...
We spoke to Antalya/ istanbul office and then we spoke with lama tourizum in fethiye... Who has started the process if transfering the flights.... We should know in the next day it so!!!

As far as I know our friends/family have all re-booked, better safe than sorry,  and hopefully can get a refund from the credit cards, just hoping nothing else pops up as we are all on different flights.

Oh well, just back from a week away in Germany, and was hoping to pick up some good news on what is happening with our kthy flights.  Sounds like nothing has changed!

I am going to contact my credit card company again and also Barclays who we have our holiday insurance through.

Still not holding my breath though for a refund!

Ive had some bad news from both Atlasjet and websites attached to the travel agencies which were re-issuing new tickets.
Atlasjet do not have any available seats on any flights from Stansted - Atalya between 5th - 15th August. If you check the websites whish supposed to be rearranging our flights with Atlasjet are now NOT dealing with any flights to any ports in Turkey.

To be honest and for totally selfish reasons right now I really hope that in the final analysis Atlas jet arent going to take over the schedules. The lack of information is appalling- we couldnt afford to play 'flight chicken' this year of all years when we need to be there for a wedding so we've booked new flights at no small expense! If our original date of travel comes and goes without a flight we stand a chance of getting our money back!
