I only had coffee (and carton orange juice) and that is what I commented on. I'm sorry I didn't lie and say it was great but I thought people came here for honest opinions.

I love the mentality that I posted that I got two crappy drinks and in some way I have a lot to answer for. I didn't order two crappy drinks I was served two crappy drinks. How did I become the bad guy!!! I can only judge a restaurant on what I experience Gav and this thread could have died ages ago.

I dont think there is anything worse than ordering a coffee, and getting that horrible bitter stuff, a decent coffee in calis was hard to come by, so if the restaurant in question, be it Bostans or anywhere else gets good reviews, which it has on here, you would at the very least expect a decent cup of coffee when going in there, remember the saying, "little things mean a lot",I would rather have cold chips, and a decent cup of coffee, because at least I know the effort has gone into it.Its not knocking Bostans, far from it, most people would be screaming from the rafters if they got a warm Efes,so why not a bad coffee. I think a jar of nescaff would sort this easily and keep everyone happy,:P

You also titled the thread "probably the worst coffee in the world." A bit harsh in my opinion. There is one thing for sure about us Brits, we don't complain there and then, we always wait until well after the event!

So you had a bad cup of coffee. I've had many bad coffees and food all over the world but I don't slaughter the producers all over a public forum. I vote with my feet and let others make up their own minds after they have tried the fayre.

I do know that Carol, Recep and all the staff put their heart and soul into Bostans and I know for a fact that if somebody complains to their face they will try their very utmost to rectify the situation immediately.
