No no, definitely not poor service, just bland. I recommend this place, highly! Especially for those with kids wanting a bit of UK nosh. Just don't go for the entertainment.

If you turn into the one way "back road" from the main one, the back road is pretty much straight for a short while. As it starts to turn left, it just obscures the Mulberry Tree which is on the left of the back road. Not far from the Megri Lokantasi but a little further and on the other side of the road.

Mmmmm....I think Stu and I have to try this place, to be honest we prefer people Not to be in your face all the time, so could cope with this place easily.....whilst we adore the Turkish hospitality sometimes we just want to sit down and eat and drink without any fuss.... :)

we had a lovely meal there, -and would go back.
The British lady sat with us and talked (far to long) about the dolphins saving -but we let her off as it was for a good cause.
She appeared friendly enough but i know what you mean about not being very welcoming, we felt she wanted to close up early and we almost rushed our meal..?

The meal was lovely i had quiche which was delicious and there was clean plates all round.
No music playing or any atmosphere but a good meal none the less.

Just thought I would add my thoughts to those of you who have already posted.

The food in here is actually quite good.
We use The Mulberry Tree our girls are great eaters but every now and then want a little bit of home.
Chris in here and her staff will do her utmost to please.  One daughter likes beans on toast the other beans on bread!  This is never a problem, If they are not busy Chris will make the girls what they fancy.
Marc orders a curry with heat - he gets a curry with heat.
We recomment The Mulberry Tree to our friends with small children who sometimes have been out all day on a tourist trip and want something quick and easy so they can get the children off home to sleep.
