my daughter booked her transfers with this company and ikept a close eye on the comments on here.As advised, she only paid the transfer one way TO the apartment though they asked for all of it.Now,she has just been left high and dry at 4.30 in the morning, having to resort to the otogar taxi service, which proved a godsend at only 90 lira between two.She e mailed them yesterday and confirmed her flights and phone number.Phoned the emergency number this morning to be fobbed off with "sat out side the apartment and you didn't show up"rubbish.Duh! thats why you had the phone number. Please be very careful if you have booked with them and have an alternative number available.ok,rant over [xx(]

Amanda, thats disgusting to leave a young girl or anyone who is waiting to either go or return.... they will be getting less and less bookings and then maybe they will realise why :o

We were totally forgotten in 2002 whilst on holiday, for our return to Dalaman. This wasn't with a transfer company, it was more a barman with an old minibus. There can't be many worse feelings in the World than the slow realisation that nobody is coming and your flight time is getting closer and closer. Since then I have never used anyone apart from the well known transfer companies and even now Nikkie (sunnyd) will confirm how jittery I get when they are 5 minutes late :D

I wouldn't be interested in how much cheaper the likes of Rain Transfers might be, it will never be enough to risk having that stress again. The fact is, the likes of Fethiye Lovers and Orange charge more for their service because they make sure you get it  :)

There are always posts on this Forum about the cheapest transfers, however, I think you get what you pay for.  We could not fault Fethiye Lovers who we booked through Nikkie. They are always on time and totally realiable.  We would also recommend their hire cars.

I have always used Fethiye Lovers when I or friends/family need a private transfer, cannot fault them.
But even with the reliable private transfers, they can also go wrong. Friends I know of a few weeks back had a private transfer with Stork, the car and driver were in an accident on route to Dalaman, but they didn't inform the Stork desk at Dalaman or arrange for another car to pick them up.
With regards to the Rain Shuttles, not had a problem with them, always on time, clean and comfortable....door to door, and I had to change a flight at short notice for a day early. Called them and everything was changed there and then at no extra cost.
Like all transfers, be they private or shuttle, there will be times when something goes wrong.
Apologies for my original post on this, I posted it was Pegasus who didn't inform the desk at Dalaman or sent another car, it was in fact Stork. My apologies also to Pegasus.

We had no problems with Rain Transfers, lucky I guess.

When we lived in Turkey we used a forum favourite for friends experienced a problem, so not used again; the same will go for Rain, first time WE have a problem they will not be used again.
