Hi all, we are comming back after a two year break Aug.26th and can't wait. While we are there we will be celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. Two years ago we were taken by a great taxi driver to a fantastic resturant up above Fethiye near the huge flags. It was like a huge deck area but the atmosphere was just stunning. Does anybody know what the name is and is it still as good as it was back then? Cheers all and any other bar and places to eat suggestions welcome ! We are staying in the Sunset Beach resort and can't wait to come back.:D

Its probably the Kale Park.  Can't comment on the food because we have not eaten there.

Yes sounds like Kale Park. Sadly most reports are that two years ago was the time to go there. Most people say it is now pretty dire.

I think you would probably like Red Island, you get taken out by speedboat and have dinner on the island with the lighthouse as a backdrop. Great seafood.  We were out there for a Wedding Anniversary it was fabulous.

Lovely views and beautiful pool but eaten here twice and didn't find the food very good on either occasion. If you are looking for something really special I would opt for Jaqui's suggestion of the island.

The island sounds just great, but is it rediculously expensive? I know that sounds sad but I am not Rockerfella. LOL

Defintely sounds like Kale Park. We went in June and the food was fine. Service not as good as it used to be, but still one of our favourite places.

If you are celebrating a Silver Wedding you will probably want to go somewhere special, as the old saying goes "You get what you pay for"  ;) We found red island more expensive than the restaurants in Calis and Fethiye, but the total experience was unforgetable and worth paying the extra for a special occasion.  It's not something you will do every night of the week.   We did splurge out with a lobster, as I recall the meal was about £130.00 for the two of us that included all drinks and the speedboat.   Just how much would a special anniversary dinner cost in the U.K.?   If you want to know the prices get in touch with Cafe Pazzar, we booked through them and got a discount, so, they will tell you what prices to expect.
I remember when it opened Rimms put on some lovely images of the place, perhaps someone knows the link to these images [?]  :)
