It depends how many people are jointly putting the file up for others to download - if there's only one person sharing the file you want and they are also sharing 3,000 other files which are concurrently being downloaded like they're going out of fashion then your download will be a trickle of their total bandwidth.

I know it costs more, but getting songs of iTunes is worth it if you listen to them a lot. Quicker download and you know it's pretty certain you won't get a virus from it.

Actually to be honest, it doesn't cost more for me, just my dad :D

Mp3 files work on all formats including iTunes. If you don't want illegal downloads on your computer, then you may as well get tracks at the cheapest price. The tunechecker website only has links to reputable sellers and there is advice on the site for iTunes downloads and how you don't have to pay the iTunes high prices.

For example, I've just checked Tunechecker website,  the single "Eminem featuring Rhianna" is cheapest at 40p with HMV downloads, whereas it's 99p with iTunes

I understand now thanks.Seems to be downloading ok now so by the time it is to go on holiday I should have a nice collection of music to listen to,
