Ok not the weather, the kebabs or anything obvious but does anyone have any small things that they find much better in Turkey  8)

We all agree, Turkish mayonnaise is way better than British  :-\

The more obvious ones like veg, cherries etc of course...

The bread.  No matter what style of FRESH bread we buy it always tastes better than the cotton wool that passes for bread in the UK.

The frequency and cheapness of the public transport and to see cows, sheep, goats and chickens not imprisoned in sheds, pens and cages.

Went to Edinburgh on the train on Saturday, bang on time both ways, special deal one kid goes free with each paying adult, worked out at £29 for the 4 of us including reserved seats.

Anyway, back to topic :D

Reading water and electric meters with a hand held computer and leaving the bill with you, saves postage and time.
Calling out a service engineer the same day not waiting for days.
not waiting 10 weeks for furniture to be delivered

Haha good one :D

I loved the fact that I didn't ever want a kilo of cucumbers and when I tried to buy a single one at the market they wouldn't take any money for it at all  :)
