I did not introduce the phrase "perhaps the most vile act ever perpetrated upon other humans," into this topic. You did GordonA. I replied to that part of the topic. When you have family members who died in the WW2 Nazi concentration camps the deprivations and deaths in them become part of the family history and knowledge. I did look up the Atom Bomb figures however to ensure accuracy.

I cannot answer what happened to all those financial institutions in the World Trade centre, but if there was a licence to print/make money they cannot have re-established themselves well, given the  USA has now its highest level of national debt ever.

I do not accept that stating facts regarding mass wipeouts of fellow human beings constitutes a competition in any sense of the word.

Thanks for that link, I downloaded the DVD and extras, well worth the 2hours viewing, and definitely very thought provoking.  
A multi-millionaire buys uo the towers 99yr lease, 6 weeks prior takes out an insurance on the building being hit by terrorist aircraft, the list goes on and on.
