I was about 14 years of age when playing a game of football in the street, I fell and smashed my front teeth on a kerb stone, OUCH!
For most of my life I have been forced to wear a denture although some years ago my top teeth were fixed with a bridge, my bottom teeth however were another story, I have a very difficult bite which most dentists think that I may have also broken my jaw in the accident but this was not discovered at the time and has set back out of alignment.
After pleading with my UK Dentist for an alternative to the lower denture, I was told that a lower bride or implants were impossible and given several supporting reasons. In short, I was stuck with this denture in my mouth.
A couple of years ago, Chris went to see Cagatay to have some veneers fitted, they looked great and so while waiting for her in the surgery one day, I asked Cagatay to have a look and confirm the diagnosis from mu UK dentist. He spent some time and then sent me off with the practice nurse to a specialist X-ray place in Fethiye were I had a 360 degree X-ray, something I had never even seen here in the UK during many years of treatment. After studying the X-ray, Cagatay confirmed it was a difficult case but that he could make me a horseshoe type bridge and fix my bottom teeth for good.
I had some preparation work done on my visit last year and then 2 weeks ago I made a further 5 visits over a 10 day period, the result is that for the first time in more than 40 years, I have perfectly straight and natural looking bottom teeth, and no denture. The whole procedure was pain free, the surgery is modern and spotlessly clean. During the treatment for several hours, Cagatay had the dental technician who made the bridge there with him in the surgery so he understood at first hand all of the tiny adjustments required to make this job perfect, their attention to detail was just brilliant.
I have some further treatment planned for March next year when I will have a couple of implants in the top to complete the job, I can't wait for my UK dentist (in Brynn, Ashton in Makerfield) to call me in for a check up !
Cagatay is near the Passapateur in Fethiye, contact details are :
