Flights to dalaman from uk in winter

Hello,
I am new to this forum. Please can anyone advise me? We live in Hertfordshire and would like to fly out to dalaman at the end of November. Struggling to find flights with affordable (less than £250 pp). What do people do to reach fethiye and surrounding areas in winter? We could fly from London or midlands.
I have searched the forum but can't find recent information.

You may have to fly to Antalya, as there are very little flights from UK to Dalaman after mid November.

Have you tried Skyscanner.net? Easy to use site which gives all options from London to Turkey on 1 page for a month at a time so you can pick your choice.

thankyou supercabby and Jim, I forgot about sky scanner, they had one flight  for £229 but most were over £1000!!! Is it easy to commute to Ovacik from Antalya?

Once the tourist season finishes Dalaman virtually becomes a domestic airport with very few internatioanl flights. (Some people will tell you that it closes, but that's not true.)

It might be worth having a look at flying to Antalya via either Frankfurt am Main or Berlin. That way you could use a UK budget airline into Germany to hook-up with a German one into Turkey.

Or try Pegasus from Stanstead, via Istanbul and their onward domestic flight down to Dalaman.  Taking this route you might fancy a night or two in Istanbul as part of your trip.

Alternative to Pegasus from UK to Istanbul is Easyjet, but the flight arrivals in Istanbul do not always link in too well with the Dalaman (Pegasus and Turkish Airline) flights, so you may have a few hours or even overnight wait.  Still worth exploring though.

Pegasus from Stansted via istanbul to Dalaman is a good choice from the uk. To return, the Pegasus 08.15 Dalaman to Istanbul then Easyjet to Luton is about a 4 hour wait.

Thankyou everyone, plenty to look into. What about getting from Antalya to Ovacik / fethiiye. How would we go about this?

There's a regular coach service between Antalya & Fethiye, which takes between 3:15 - 4:00 hours if you go shortway ie over the mountains. It costs 18 - 20tl one way dependant on which of the bus companies you use

Or it might be worth considering hiring a car if you're confident with "continental" driving. You should be able to get some very competitive deals out of season.
