leaving the 3th of july. how is the situation at the moment? our travel agent is pretending that everything will be fine and nice for the 1st of june!! do they think that we are stupid or what! I am really p***** of!! Or is there someone (local) who is also thinking that within 1 week opening is ready?
some new pictures would be great.

Went to take alook yesterday, not a chance of opening next week, or maybe not in June at all, no windows in and floor tiling all stacked up outside. I have taken some photos but don't know how to upload straight from iPhone so will put them on next week

En wat voor een hotel heb je er voor teruggekregen en hoe heb je dat geregeld met de reismaatschappij?
Ik ga 3 july en ook via neckermann ze hebben volgens mij geneens besef hoe slecht het er nog uitziet.

I have just been on the phone to my travel agents (A1 Travel) they said they have contacted the builders and they a guranteed to be built by 1st June with i think is a load of plop!,

Its no where near finished they said if i want to change i would need to pay!!!!! more and an admin fee
but if i turn up and its not built i can have a free transfer that is pathetic! help!!!@

I don't know Simon - it seems pretty assured that it won't be ready so I'd travel and see where they transfer me to. You'd be very unlucky to find yourself in a bad hotel in Calis (although many don't have all that Jiva Beach promised). If you don't think the alternative accommodation measures up, make a complaint in resort, then get a letter sent on your return.

My guess is that your alternative accommodation is already sorted. Have a great holiday, wherever you end up...

and yes it does look like a lovely place, what do you mean by get a letter sent on my return?.

Also its my first holiday with the other half so i wanted it to be a great holiday i think it still will be i just don't want to get there and be stuck on whats going on and not be able to go anywhere else haha.

I think it is really stupid and unfair the fact that A1 Travel say it will be ready guaranteed by the 1st from the company who is building it when it clearly is not going to be.

Apparently my girlfriend said she rang and they said as long as the pool is there and our room and dining room is built we can go in the hotel i dont really want that i want a fully functioning hotel haha, last time i let her book the holiday whilst i'm not there haha

naw its not her fault just false advertisement.
