Karen that is great - thank you so much.

I am sorry I will miss you next week but like Anne says you can leave it at the shop with her or one of the other committee members or at the Eyna restaurant when the shop is closed.  Just mark it for 3C's Bozalan project

Thanks :D

First update of today, of a few hopefully  :)

I am so very pleased to have received most generous donations from CBF member Stan, and another from "a prominent member" of this magnificent forum who wishes to remain nameless but just so she knows that I am talking about her specifically recently turned down the offer of a lunch date with me - it doesn't happen often that!!!

Many, many thanks go to Stan and ******  ;)

Do you have a total of monies raised not crossed off Keith?
Are we able yet to cross off some of the more expensive items on the list?

Yes we are indeed able to Anne and will do - I am nervous about allocating the money myself (although spending other people's money is a great job!) but have had discussions and will advise soon. With that will come a total - money is coming in to 3Cs bank account and directly to their shop so my running total isn't the full total so I will have to get the calculator out  :)

Thank you to two ladies from CBF who made donations - both wish to remain anonymous so no details to report - but I hope they both know I mean them - B & F. Also we have had a donation specifically to buy one of the double desk/chair sets - our first - and I am awaiting a reply from that lady regarding whether she would be happy to be named or prefer to remain a mystery.

A great couple of days - quite remarkable actually - thank you so much on behalf of all concerned to all concerned  :)

More fantastic contributions - we have most kindly been given TWO separate donations each to buy a twin desk/chair set at £70 each. Many thanks go out to CBF member Fran; and CBF happy couple Lotty & MSB (aka Connie & Martin). Magnificent stuff and essential items that can last till today's pupils are bringing their own kids to school  :)

3 weeks on, 17 pages later, numerous donations deposited, and we were worried???????? What a relief it has taken off and I am most optimistic, all the goods will be purchased soon.Keep donating please especially if you haven't done so yet.  A pound can be added to another pound and the cash will grow = more items can be bought.
:D

We were worried and I still am - I want to ensure we cross off everything  :) - but the trick is to forget the apathy and concentrate on the target, and most importantly the positives of which there are many. Amazing donations, simply amazing - all of them, it doesn't matter how much was donated, just that someone cared enough to take the time to donate and help. When I get to sit down and compare notes with Pete & Chrissie I will post the total so far.

This project can go on forever (well, until we have indeed crossed everything out) but the initial plan was to conclude it all in time for the carnival. It would be fantastic if we could do that. Thank you to everyone who supported us, and to those thinking about it, stop thinking  ;)
