Greetings all, my name is liz and I hail from Uckfield in East Sussex, married to John, have 3 daughters 24, 23, 21 and my little soldier who is 15. I work at the local community college in the maths department, john is an engineer. We went to Turkey 4 years ago after a lot of persuasion (I dont like flying) with the help of a valium or 2 and an abundance of red wine we landed safely, and to our amazement we loved the place, so much so we bought a little villa last year in Calis, I never realised the place was so popular. holidays just dont seem to come round quick enough.

hope you enjoy your new villa. the whole area around Fethiye is fantastic-we have done a lot of travelling round the world, seen some great places but this area takes some beating. we just love the mountains and beaches and the people-it's got it all really. definitely worth the flight over! (i'm still not keen on flying either but find a couple of large brandies and coke before departure works wonders plus another on the plane-by the time I land I feel like I could fly myself!!)

Hi Lizzie & welcome. I too hated flying & took medication supplied by my doctor, I was terrified, not by the landing or take off but the bit in the middle, I felt I had no control. Well after many flights I have no probs. now,infact I enjoy every aspect of the flight,I love the landing best. I think with each flight you gain confidance. Ty
