1. Chinese- none of them are that great to be honest!
2. Indian- wouldnt even dare to try one
3. Lokanta/kebap/economy Turkish - a place in the back streets which serves meatballs in half bread- do you know it?
4. Best Turkish- dont know what the difference is between this and number 3?
5. Best steak- a place in Marmaris Moe and Kenny took us to but no where in Calis
6. Italian- Casa di Mama
7. Seafood- Fish market without a doubt but these days would have to say the same for 8 as well! Always the dearest meal of the holiday!
8. Money no object- see above!

Also think you could add a couple more categories
Bistro style dining- like Cafe Blue( was Oley)
European influenced food- like Buzz in Olu Deniz or any of the ones on the prom in Calis
Best for views- would have said the White Dolpin in the olden days but now would say the Sat- (yes yes I know) but I still like it! or again any of them on the prom.
If you do include those I've given you mine
Ta

Feel free to add your own categories  :)

I would add the following (I thought my initial list was too long!)

a) Best restaurant now no longer with us
b) Best restaurant to go to with kids
c) Best take away doner

And if I had added those, I would have answered:

a) Lighthouse from the days of Phil & Louise, both sadly missed in Calis many years on.
b) All are good today but (I must be having a nostalgia day) nothing came close to the Orient and Falcon, when it came to kids.
c) Frank Cannons, no question  :)

OMG totally agree with those 3 Scunner! Lighthouse was ace! Loved the food and the ambiance for a drink later on too they played some great music . Agree with number 2( not Alan! ) more from the Falcon perspective , rather than the kids and number 3 is the best at any time but at 3am after Scarletts it takes some beating!

I would love an authentic Thai restaurant here.  We stayed in Lyon in France for a couple of nights, this year, and opposite the hotel was a Thai restaurant.  We ate there on both nights as the buffet was absolutely delicious.  I am converted to Thai now.

Yes Dennis has opened a new restaurant next to his Dennis the Menace bar . It is called Bambu and he told me he has an Indian chef .Not Chief !! We have eaten there and it was excellent. Still drooling at the spring rolls. Best I have tasted.
