I agree Nichola! These women need closure and need people to believe this actually happened to them. How sad they have gone on for so long not being able to tell what happened for fear of not being taken seriously or fear of the man himself.

I also think those in charge at the BBC at the time should hang their heads in shame.

I agree with you too, rest in peace ! my ar*e, if he is to be proven guilty, then maybe it will go some way to helping the people who have suffered for all these years, always thought he was shady anyway.

Certainly seems he has been found guilty already.
There are instances where the "victims" have been found to be telling lies too.

I'm not suggesting this is the case as all I know about this is from public opinion.

When I was 9 I met Jimmy Saville, when he was about to leave our class my gran was outside and asked me to go back for his autograph, the crowd pushed forward and I nearly got crushed (thanks nan), Jimmy told his chauffeur to get me and put me in his Rolls Royce to drive me out of the crowds, he sat talking to me for a while and during that time never attempted to do anything improper, he was very kind and my nan got her autograph.

Well that programme convinced me, and sickened me, and even more people are coming forward, the details appeared to be consistent too, and I believe them, the only further insult I would like to hand him is to throw McKenzie and Bettisson and a few more on top of him, oh and that Abul fella with the hook.

Maybe you were a little too young? Who knows - maybe you were just lucky?
