I got 2.945 at ING today - advertised at 2.90 at exchanges in Fethiye and Calis :D

Please could someone mail me the directions to these banks with the decent exchange rates in fethiye!!

i heard ING and finans and sekur. However, i can only find the finans bank branches on their website the other two was in Turkish and me being ignorant or a tourist doesn't know the language :(

Getting annoyed in Calis using the jewelry store now offering me 2.7 :(

Have you tried Zumrut the Jewellers always a good rate in there.

the bank next to HSBC in Fethiye is mentioned regularly I think it is the Seckur. It is located in Carsi Caddessi.

Can someone clarify for me please do you need to have an account with any of these banks to change money or can you just walk in and change money up? thanks for any replys  :)

Also is it right, does anyone know, that you can only legally exchange currency with a person/establishment licensed to do so?

There's signs saying this gone up in Calis, but I can't find anything saying this online anywhere.
