I'd be interested in what members imagine the proprietors have in mind to make this establishment "fun"
=======

For me, no noisy children, no barking dogs.
Or vice verse.

Ah the Far British Corner - I remember being in Scarlett with Falcon one night when the skinniest (and I think English) belly dancer was on in there.

More disco than belly dancing - poor Falcon was mortified  :)

Well thats enough of the negative comments... Calis beach needs new blood and some lively venues if it is to survive, there is definately a shortage of good party venues here  :)

Exactly - and people tend to forget that families with children come and spend good money in Calis. Their money has so far not been sought in any way. You don't need to go to a fun pub and get annoyed by the sounds of children enjoying themselves. Not every place should be catering for "you".

Me too H. I think Calis is alive and well and has many repeat visitors because its Calis.
I think the only thing that could hit Calis this year is the restaurants along the prom on the way to Fethiye, they were really buzzing and very busy last year, families, and couples.
High quality surroundings, top notch food and live music.
Calis might have to up its game to keep up and become more classy. Not sure a fun pubs going to achieve that.

My kids spent all their holidays from age 5 onwards in Fethiye area, never unwelcome anywhere.
