One of the messages on Saturday was about a soldıer who had dıed ın servıce and hıs funeral . How do I know ? I asked my turkısh frıend.

In Akyaka there is a tannoy announcement at about 10 o'clock each morning. Apparently it always says "Ali (the trawler captain) has just landed the fish down at the harbour".

Just figured out how to turn it off - but for a £49 tablet (half price for boxing day only in Tesco) it did make me sound dynamic  ;)  ;)
