Hope it was an uneventful night for everyone, weather-wise of course.

Uneventful night, still really calm and very warm this morning but overcast. Chris is working in the Charity shop this morning and needs Tsunami reassurance !

Looks like the really bad weather hit the Bodrum area, it seems that the warnings were to be on the safe side.
Most of the forecasts for the Fethiye region got it near spot on for last night and this morning.

The earth didn't move for me or I slept through it lol overcast and warm so far.

I think Hisaronu and Ovacık got the brunt of it with very strong winds and power off for a couple of hours. Just after 1 am the winds really picked up in Calis I stayed awake for a bit as I thought I was going to lose my water tank... then fell asleep. It was a better to be safe than sorry kind of warning, and to let parents know that the schools will be closed.

Sunnyd keep those warnings coming, we don't always hear or understand those that are put out on the public address annoucements.  So thanks even though - this time - we escaped any problems.
