My son found out recently that its now £70 with Ryanair!

Idiot didn't read the notice in capital letters when he booked his flight.

A rip off but no excuse for not reading what was clearly in front of him.

Blimey :o

It's amazing that I have been on hundreds of flights and never once on Ryanair.

Well it looks like the online check in has changed again for easy jet at Dalaman

Just bought tickets for October and this was in the email

Dalaman - Bristol

Due to local regulations in place at Dalaman, your online boarding pass does not allow you into the departure area, so you must present yourself at BAG DROP to receive a validation stamp from our team. Failure to present yourself at BAG DROP at least 60 minutes prior to scheduled flight departure time will result in you being unable to fly.

Looks like I have to join a queue just to get a stamp, I am only travelling with hand luggage >:(

And don't leave it until 60 minutes before either!  We queued an hour in May and were near the front.  People behind us had to wait nearly 2!   We'd printed off boarding passes online but did at least have cases to check in.  Waste of time if you've only got hand luggage!
