Taxi recommendations please

I hope I'm putting this in the right section!

I think I've now established that I'm not going to be walking alone at night so could anyone please recommend a good taxi guy to me.  One who speaks English, (I suppose most will) Who I can arrange a decent deal with for my long stay and will just take me there and back.  I don't want one of those who appear half a dozen times a day and dangle things over my railings!!

We always use Mehmet Beder. (Taksimehmet.) Never let us down in 7 years of coming to Calis. Excellent English, very friendly and always happy for you to give him a call if you need help/translation or advice on any other matter. If you would prefer a female driver his wife also drives for him. Havn't got the number to hand, its on hubby's phone but can add it later if you like.
