Read through the posts, wander around various websites until you find the one you like the sound of and go with that......that's what I do when we have been away in jan/Feb to Canaries - absolute consistency over 10 years............always get it wrong!

It's great to get some sun when you're on holiday BUT there is so much more to a holiday than that. Warm friendly people, lovely food, gorgeous scenery, making new friends, exploring, relaxing and just getting away from your day to day life.  I hope the weather is good for you but no matter what, Calis is just gorgeous.

End of May beginning of June is a lovely time everything is fresh and new and I can pick the mulberries from my tree in the garden.
Last May we went up to Oludeniz to speak to someone about my son's wedding. We were at Sugar Beach everyone was in the water, we were sitting at the bar melting in the heat.  I enclose two pictures of our garden in Calis first one last May second one May 2011 :D

Been in May for last 4 years and ground the weather perfect. Never felt cold in the evenings or worn a jacket. Perfect for us.

If you are intending to swim in the sea around the 20th of May, put a note in your diary for 20th June. This is the earliest date you will see your testicles again.

Lovely pool Jacqui! Can we stay at yours?
Seriously, we've been going in May for about 14 years and it's always been lovely. So is Sept/Oct. Sometimes there ade glorious thunder storms, but beautiful to watch and then out comes the sun again. I find May the most comfortable and pretty month to be there. Plenty if pashminas on loan in many restaurants should the night turn chilly.

You are quite right that there is so much in Calis or any holiday really but somehow, for me anyway, having the sunshine makes everything so much more enjoyable.  I will always chase the sun for my well-earned hols and I feel so disappointed if the weather is poor - like I've missed out.

Never been on the beach at Calis, prefer to sit at the pool more private and handy for everthing. So no worries there, however, cannot think of a better day than the 20th June (my birthday) for testicles to descend again   ;D   ;)
