A couple of neighbours on the complex have just come back from calis and tell me the road is closed and all dug up and no pavements to walk on either from the dolphin roundabout heading up the BMB, have,nt seen it myself yet. but sounds if anyone wants to go on the prom, a bus to Fethiye and the water taxi might be the only way to get there/

Oh my     - Rimms' photo's show them laying the pavements on 4th June - now there aren't any??  Don't know how we will get to our apartment with our suitcases - it's right in the middle of B Manco near the taxi rank......

They seem to be makıng a new road surface but they may be goıng to block pave. It ıs a mess but ıts keepıng the men ın a job I suppose.

Are the Dolmus/Taxis taking alternative routes through the back roads then?  I am getting really worried now on how we will get about when we come over.  At least we have just over a week for things to improve - feel really sorry for those who have been or are currently there amidst all the mess - the timing really is poor

Most of the pavements down BMB are now in place, they need to return to complete some of the fiddle'y bits. They are now laying the pavements in Gunlukbasi and are nearly as far as Melisa supermarket. Chris saw them digging the road from Aydin Pide down towards the sea front earlier today and they have been up near us ( Aspava Junction ) laying more drainage channels at each side road. Don't worry about getting around, the Dolmus and Taxi drivers know every diversion possible.
