Jacqui - he is Major Sir Crispin Hamlyn Agnew of Lochnaw, 11th Baronet QC.

He is probably the foremost expert on Land Law in the country.

My point, respectfully is, that people who have titles are not nessarily famous.

When we took customers to watch an England game, had the pleasure of meeting Trevor Brooking & Gary Lineker pitchside - I can report two further quality celebs - Lineker was happy to stand and talk footie, and Brooking is just entirely what you see on the telly. At the end of the conversation you just want to give him a great big hug :D

I met Tom Moss once, or twice, I was so awe struck that I cannot quite remember where, or even when.   :  :) 8)

Met Adam Faith in London's Shaftesbury Avenue , whilst attending an audition with Loz's brother Stuart. I also literally "bumped" into the great Bobby Moore in Notting Hill Gate, he apologised for not looking where he was going, ( he was exiting a bookies), and shook my hand !! Lovely chap.

I've met Norman (bite yer legs) Hunter a few times at Leeds games. A gentleman and always willing to sit down and have a chat about the team.

Many (many) moons ago, I was a fledgling reporter in the newsroom at Radio Hallam. One of my duties included looking after visitors, which meant making tea or coffee, fetching sandwiches and making small talk until they were due on air.

I have genuinely forgotten a lot of the visitors, but none of them were earth shakingly famous, but I remember Cliff Richards and Dana for some reason. Both were very pleasant as I recall. I was fascinated watching Dana put a dental prosthetic in to close the gap in her front teeth. I remember thinking how glamorous and pretty she was.

The people I found the most unpleasant and tiresome were some (not all) of the Radio Hallam DJs who were 'famous' in Sheffield. They were really up their own orifices.

Can't think off hand who I've met, but my claim to fame is that when I worked in Biochemistry I tested the blood of a few famous people, including Laurence Olivier, Imran Khan, Fred Perry and Vera Lynne.
Vera Lynne refused to pay her bill on the basis that she was famous, but paid in the end.

Met Tommy Docherty and he was very down to earth, happy to chat and not at all stand offish. I also met Tommy Smith (LFC), all I would say was that he didn't strike me as a very happy man in fact a bit angry, and from quite a bit of what he said he had a few hang ups about Emlyn Hughes. The Queen once passed me in the street but she didn't stop, but she certainly waved.

Mrs KKOB and myself were enjoying a drink or 3 in the Tequila Bar in Oludeniz a few years ago when there was a bit of a strange moment. An oldish fella with long blonde curly hair had just walked in and everybody, except me, seemed to be staring at him. He sat at the bar and ordered a drink and it was obvious from all the nudging and whispering going on around the bar that he was somebody special. I asked Mrs KKOB what the fuss was all about and she told me the fella at the bar was none other than Robert Plant. Now, be a lifelong non-fan of Led Zeppelin, that meant absolutely nothing to me.

It turned out that he owned a villa on the top of the hill in Oludeniz and was a regular visitor to the Tequila Bar and a good friend of the staff.

A little while later when it was getting near to closing time he was sitting in the back of the bar giving Barabas, one of the barmen, some tips on guitar playing. I asked if it would OK to take some photos to which he readily agreed and Barabas ended up with a unique record of his "guitar lessons from a rock legend".
