Carol and Recep haven't started another bar or restaurant venture since closing Bostans, they live just around the corner from us, Carol is an amazingly talented artist and has been painting some wonderful pictures.

Carol and Recep still together in Çalış.Carol teaches Turkish twice a week and also paints.if you google Fine Art America you can see most of her work she also has a facebook page under Carol Bostan,Carol's creations.Recep has his own business too but not in tourism but never say never as its in his blood. Both are well and happy. When they left Bostans they took the resident cat Alphonso and dog Daisy with them as couldnt bear to think of them back on the streets.

:D how nice we have not been forgotten, thank you x
as written above, Recep and I have gone separate ways business-wise. I have re-taken up my love for painting and also teach Turkish, Recep is buying and selling just about everything (literally everything!) but hopes to open up a small totally Turkish restaurant this year in Çalış, specializing in hot and cold mezes and various homemade breads with a tapas bar feel to it. Fingers crossed. Thank you for asking. x

I really like that sound of that we love having the mezes and breads and are sometimes too full from that to order a main course, tapas bar type place sounds fab  :)

A totally Turkish restaurant would go down well in Calis. Good luck  :)

This is just what Calis needs and I know it would do well.   Just look at the No.1 Restaurant in Fethiye voted by CBF members, we all love to eat Turkish Food.   I remember asking for meze in a restaurant in Calis and being told there was no call for it!!!  :o :-[
