depends how big you want, there is a small Azda at the top of the town  several other small supermarkets which all carry a good range of stuff, but for very big you will need to go to  Gunlukbasi or Fethiye.

On the Market road there are four  Tansas and Migros (which belong to the same company) ask for a store card, they cost 1 lira and show it at the till when you buy, this way you get any members reductions that are in store at the time.  Also a Bim which is a bit like Lidl, it's basic and has no alcohol, but is cheap.   There is a Kipa at the end of this road near the Hospital. Kipa is Tesco and you will recognise a lot of the products in there.  Also, there is a Genpa Supermarket up the Aqua Park Road. Next door is Pizza Place, if you give in your address they will give you a number and a menu.  Ring from your apartment and they will deliver to the door.

Market day on Sunday for all your fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, eggs (double yolkers) yoghurt, chicken etc.,
Fresh milk does not last long in Turkey, most people buy the U.H.T.
Have breakfast at the Market, lovely freshly made pancakes, just choose your filling.  I like the spinach and cheese. Phil likes the banana and honey..

Don't know about any other members but we have never found a "decent" cheese in Turkey, that is not being rude but omg I tried some once I don't know what it was but I really thought I was going to be sick  :( we always take a big packet or a pack of cheese slices with us in our case...

Haha I was going to write the same - if cheese is one of your holiday treats then pack some  :)

If you pack it in your hand luggage expect to get pulled over at UK security - there's no problem bringing it through but they informed me that on the scanner it looks like a carton of juice.

Depending on your taste of cheeses, you can find some really nice Feta cheese in the shop as you walk in from the front entrance at the fish market in Fethiye, he will let you try them until you find your fav's also his olives are really good. Stilton can be found everywhere and Bim sell some nice cream cheese also sucuk goes very well with the cheese or on a BBQ(Turkish spicy sausage). If we are only talking cheddar then yes bring your own stash.  ;)

They do sell cheddar cheese in the supermarkets.  We actually like the feta type cheese in the market.  The guys selling it will always give you samples as some cheese is stronger than others.  Also the yoghurt is very good, looks like double cream and they will give you a big tub for a few lira.  It's lovely with fruit and a bit of honey for breakfast. Much better that the supermarket yoghurt.
