Scottish Independence
« on: February 16, 2014, 14:52:21 PM »
On the 18th of September Scotland will vote to either stay as part of the UK or opt for independence.

Assuming we all have a say (which we don't) which way would you vote?

I'm for staying.  I can't see any good coming to Scotland if the split happens.

I rarely meet anyone up here who is for independence (although the ones who are seem by far more vocal about it).

What about independence but where they stay "in" the pound, still have BBC and keep the bits they like.

A bit like how it is now.

Russ I told you before, if Gordon wants his independence he can have it, but I keep the pounds    ;)

All the Scots that now live in England and else where do not vote, yet the English who now live in Scotland can.  I feel another History lesson looming.

If they stay then they should be on an even footing ie. prescription charges, uni fees etc.
