Yep stay together.
Noisy neighbours perhaps (it's probably the whiskey), but a vital part of the Union.

Here we go then ! ...................................................................Basically, I don't give a toss either way, it won't put any more money in my pocket, or take any more out, so I won't lose sleep over it !!  8)  ;)

Suehugh Whiskey is Irish. Whisky is Scottish.  I will vote to stay with a United Kingdom.  I know too much about Alex Salmond to even trust him to get me a bottle of milk.

Born and Bred Jock, better together, so my vote is no, Nichola im sure it is the 18th.

You are quite right. I have edited my initial post to avoid any confusion   :)

I wondered what people thought of this in today's Independent which seems to have caused Alex Salmond to have something of a hissy fit.

Damn. I voted the wrong way. I thought "Aye" meant "Yes" in the actual vote. Perhaps someone who wants to vote "No" might vote "Nay" to make things right. Fat chance.

Oh, I see new improved voting allows you to change your mind. Pity it isn't like that in real life.

Sorry, it's the half Irish bit of me. Whiskey, whisky, scotch though are all the same to me.

Go for it Scotland.

What in Gods name have Posh Dave and other  entirely London based chinless wonders got in common with Scotland.

They get their answer regularly at the polls with virtually no elected reps north of the border.

Many English people feel understandably disgruntled enough  to push for an EU referendum with their ire centred on their belief that issues and policies which affect their daily lives are  subject to decisions taken far from London  by people they do not elect and are entirely outside of their control- Welcome to our world ( Edinburgh/Belfast)

Go for it Scotland- definitely better independent and free

I can understand you saying that as you are in Ireland. I only know one person who has said he would vote for Salmond, like Scunner says, most folks don't want Independence.   However, Alex Salmond would lead us to disaster.  He was best friends with Fred Goodwin who he up us as a wonder banker (I did say banker).  Then he held up Iceland and Ireland as examples of great independence with wonderful economies.
I will not go into detail, but he allowed a lovely local School to go to pot because they had the wrong Head Master who ruined the school and even after a deputation from the local parents, he said he would help and did nothing.  1/3 of the children left and went to another school.   After a year of more total incompetence the Head Teacher was moved to an desk job which did not last, he is now a barman.  I and other parents will never forgive Salmond for his lack of help.  However, as he could gain no publicity, he washed his hands of us.

People of Scotland should look to their pride and self respect.

If there was a vote amongst the English re Scotland they would dump them tomorrow.

Better Independent
