Saoirse

I honestly don't know how the Scottish people can be expected to make an informed decision when there is such uncertainty surrounding such key issues as the pound and as of today the EU.

As time goes by I believe more and more people will be become less and less tolerant of the SNP's always unsubstantiated dismissal of counter arguments to their promises.

I also firmly believe that Scottish Independence will benefit the Central Belt far in excessive of the regions, such as the Highlands, much as the South East of England benefits more than the regions in England.

Well there are lies spin and smoke n mirrors on both sides hence its totally the job of Scots to weigh up their future, no one else's- including the likes of Posh Dave who along with all of his tyoe couldn't care less.

The Scots sure know that all right- they tell his ilk at ballot time

We will find out in Sept and thereafter. I am quite confident  from an outsiders soundings, a good base can be put down to take Independence forward.

My own view- go for it Scotland, freedom autonomy, self determination. Better Independent.

Is it right that a minority could vote to break up the United Kingdom.
Surely that's not democracy.
The referendum should be a national vote. Not a Nationlist whim.

The minority could well break up the union if the majority don't bother to vote against it.

All three UK political parties..."An independent Scotland cannot share the pound"

Alex Salmond..."Yes we can"

The EU "An independent Scotland cannot automatically be part of the EU"

Alex Salmond..."Yes we can"

He reminds me of a spoiled child, telling the people who have the power that they can't tell him no. Idiot - he's looking like he is losing any grip on reality he may once have had, and actually looking quite ridiculous lately.

Watched his speech yesterday.  He has no plan B should he not get Sterling or not be allowed to join the E.U.
If I had of been considering voting for him, this would definitely have made my mind up.
I am sure he is allowing 16 year olds to vote in the hope they will not know enough about him and his non policies.
