I am hoping very much to be at the meeting as I would like to ask why it is necessary for the charities to pay tax on the premises they rent privately for charity shops ? Surely the shop owners already pay tax on the income they receive and should we be taxed for helping the needy .We only have a small shop so our tax is only 100 lira per month but I know others pay much more .

Not sure if its been asked but are we (owners) going to be charged/taxed for the recent road works that are on going bearing in mind that we have in recent years paid for works done on the same roads

George, that would be me. I will be submitting the questions to be asked and the person who is going to ask them. I will do this by Monday evening and I will post the list on here. On Tuesday at the meeting I will call the relevant people to ask their question, it's one question only per person and Çagatay will translate both the question and the answer given by the mayor. Because of the language translation we will not have the time or the opportunity to enter into heated debate.

Sadly I am in the uk and cannot attend... George could you please ask about the new residency rules and the now alleged counting back on the visa for us that are not expats but have holiday homes and are wishing to maybe spend a lot of time in Turkey spending money etc there...Why can it not be left as it was 90/180 days then new visa purchased...None us want to risk getting a ban from returning to our beloved Turkey simply because the rules were not clear... Thank you very much in advance if you are able to do this...
