Dalaman all went smoothly both on arrival and departure no major ques at passport control with having the new e=visas... Gatwick however complete nightmare on arrival we had to sit on the plane for around 1 and a half hours as there were not enough staff to bring steps and buses to get to the terminal lots of fed up people and so many screaming and crying young children as they had been woken by their parents to disembark only to find we could not get off the plane :(

I hope we get feedback on how efficient or otherwise the system will work at Dalaman.  Will transfers be held up because of people experiencing difficulty obtaining their visa's at the airport on arrival ?  Elderly people and people with young children will no doubt get frazzled by all of it as no doubt some people who are tired or the worse for that wee bit extra bevy at the airport pre departure.  Fun & games !

Ray1951 - with the greatest of respect, what difference is feedback going to make.

Arrival at Dalaman will be what it will be, as it always was   :).

Highlander, this forum is to help, advise  and keep people informed so feedback on the situation at Dalaman is "a matter of interest" to SOME people. Personally, I'm not interested in people's birthday "do's" at certain restaurants BUT it is of interest to some people.

Just wonder have situation where we are coming out in 2 weeks time back again in July than again in October , within this time my passport will expire and need reissued for the October trip as won't have 6 months validity at that time..... The e visa I applied for  will show current passport issue and expiry , but by rights the visa should cover me for all the trips....... Looked on e visa website for Q&A but doesn't seem to cover this one....., any ideas.   diana

I thought I saw something that you could take your old passport with the visa, and then also present your new one. I could be wrong though!

I did my husband's and daughter's this week and had to put both father and mother's names.
Was a doddle though - ten minutes to do, pay for and print off.   :)
