One would have thought that a country that does copies of most things to sell to tourists would have a lot of booze and ciggies to sell as well. At least they do copies of perfume that will please my wife.  :)

There have been several counterfeit spirit scandals that I know of, as well as plenty of cheap fake fags and tobacco, I think made out of 98% camel pubes in the market!! Even Turkey is unlikely to start allowing the sale of fake goods in it's duty free shops.

Oh there are plenty of copies of alcohol available. I recall that there were several deaths caused by it only last year in Antalya.

And, there are plenty of opportunities to buy dried weeds (no, I don't mean weed) to smoke if you really want to waste your money.

Plenty of tobacco shops in Fethiye that sell loose tobacco. Very cheap and you get the opportunity to try before you buy.

The copies of perfume sold in the D&P perfume shop in Fethye are very good the smell lingers and they are good for everday use.  On the other hand, the perfume sold by the hawkers is absolute cr4p, the one they test with is genuine but the one you get is mainly water.

Yes, and saw a programme on T.V. that the fakes sold by Hawkers that are in the same packaging as the designer perfumes are made in unhygienic conditions with water full of bacteria.
D.&.P on the other hand are excellent copies at really great prices.  Also Dave they have men's fragrances too.
The Hermes (which I think is H9) is an exact copy and lasts all day.  I bought some for Phil and he was at a meeting in work.  The girl sitting next to him remarked after the meeting that she knew he was wearing Hermes as her brother wore it. Phil told her it was D.&.P. she was amazed as she told Phil she paid £70.00 for a bottle of Hermes for her brother's birthday.  Of course, last September we ended up bringing her a bottle back too.  Our D.&.P. orders are now getting out of hand.  :) ;D :o

Give me a while as I have a copy of their perfumes somewhere, so will try and find it and let you know. However, have a feeling the don't.

O.K. Lotty, just found my list.  No Jo Malone unfortunately, however, I note the list is in Alphabetical order and at the end are a few last minute fragrances in no order that have been added on.  We will be over end of May, so if you are not there before then, I will let you know if they have added Jo Malone this year.
