Why then Mr Calischangeoffice did your stop myself and my husband a couple of weeks ago and told us that the exchange rate advertised on your board was for tourists and if we went into your shop we could haggle a better rate? That seems like two rates to me!  ;

Transfer money through your bank and you should get the full exchange rate (currently 3.64). Buy it at a change shop and you won't get that. You will get the tourist rate which allows for their profit.

sorry couldnt answer b4 m a busy man u know ,

@sewageman ;i do use internet banking everyday actualy but we talking about real money (cash) change here infact i use real professional sites not  doviz.com or etc nonsense

@jacquiharvey ; nice advert!?!? lol... ;D why would i need advert for I m the one real official change office here and all çalış knows that but that somewhere need advert realy otherwise he wouldnt beg people to bring custemers and put everywhere signboard but still cant dare put a sign about change money (i wish he would dare that) and i tell u wat he got fined by tax office in the beginning of season (quite much money) bcos of people like u and m gonna warn him last then gonna report him to tax office/police and treasure counselorship of Türkiye cos he is helping black money they said to me i need an evidence so i have video record while he is on job so he is coming to end slowly... ;)

@mr/mrs sad ; yes we will keep telling every single person that its illagel to change money in jewellers , shops , restaurants etc. untill we stop and clear around from that creepy thieves but u dont care about illagelaty do u ? as long as u get 1 tl extra for 100 pound yes u dont care bcos this is not ur country otherwise u wouldnt do it or do u change money in jewelers ? i dont think so bcos this law is same for every country all around the world... ;)

and m still saying there is not two rates we just have special card like membership card for all local brits who lives here or have a property or regular people who comes every year to calis when they show me that card ofcourse will get better rate that is it... ;)

oh bye the way it is 3,70 tl over 500 pound  ;)

Where exactly is your location in Calis. I did not realise there was an official change office there. Assuming you pay your taxes, it is the correct place to change money.
