Love their croissants as Fedan at the Bambu buys them from there and serves them warm with a small  pot of jam and pot of butter plus a coffee for six lira. Sue (my daughter) has just told me that Migros have also started selling apricot croissants which are delicious . Must give this shop a try but the soft side of me feels sorry for the baker just past the Zayra on the way to the market as it must have hit his business quite hard.

Can I be the first to be disappointed? Been in a couple of times looking for a sandwich, despite empty cool cabinets, nothing on offer. Bread selection nice but expensive, cakes look mass produced and coffee nothing to write home about.

Early days I suppose, hope it gets better.

Please give them time, and please and tell the owner what you would like them to
To do in a nice way.
A nice family that like all of us needs a
bit of help to get it right.
And no I don't have any interest in the place, only that like you I want a nice coffee and a cake in a place that's
Five minutes away from where we live.

The new one doesn't sell the bloomer shaped loaves(as yet) so the baker beside Zayra does get the custom for them, they will slice them for you too, lovely bread, used to think you could,nt beat English bread till I moved to Turkey.  :)
