As a uk resident who has been happy to help out financially with the 3cs,  animal aid and the brothers from embrace I feel frustrated that I cannot do more, but I support 4 other charities and the finance is finite so hope others will be able to help out on this occasion

echogirl1 - you have always been among the first to take part on the small fundraisers I do on here and I have been very grateful for your support.

And I share your frustration but the 3C's need foot soldiers on the ground in Calis.

I am 100% sure that you would be elbowing me out of the way to be among the first to offer help in Calis if we were resident there.

Me to, if we lived in Calis I would gladly help. I would love to work in the shop.  I know I would really enjoy it.  I do a bit for the Cancer Research  Shop in Peterhead and always look forward to going in and helping out with all the bric-a-brac handed in. I love going through it and finding good stuff.
No one is going to call into our shop and get something for £2.00 and take it to Dickinson's Real Deal and get £200.00 for it, not if I can help it.  I want all the money to go to Charity.

My charity shops 're not very good at spotting  the good stuff and I've made  good money on Fleabay. Having said that I always donate back more than they sold it to me.win win all round   :D ;D :D ;D

I'd be helping out in a flash if I lived here as I know others would. We all do what we can.

What people have to bear in mind is that these are mostly pensioners lol..and Peter and Chrissie have been doing this for the best part of ten years.... It has become increasingly difficult  mentally and physically with fewer members to help out for many reasons. They really need some younger enthusiastic new blood...
