small party boat trips
« on: August 04, 2015, 20:31:22 PM »
Hi All,
coming out to Calis Beach on the 17th August with my family and cant wait. Its 6 yrs now since last visiting the area, so expecting many changes. Staying at Club E for 2 weeks. Anyway, are there any boats that take small parties out for the day from the canal area, if so what are the rough costs. Absolutely enjoyed these trips on our last visit to Calis. Any info would be great to know..

regards, Steve

There's some info here, although our party was for 12.

Some - Jerry for example - charge for the boat. Even if you want it for just the two of you and you pay the day rate, absolutely no problem.

As scunner says - you can hire boat for a day rate.

You may want to have a look at www.sugarsboattours.com - a splendid day out.

If you have a date in mind I can check availability for you.

Cleopatra so baths as far as I know are 'privatised' now .
This probably isn't the right term, but I asked recently and was told general boat trips aren't allowed anymore.

If you go to the desk at the Calis boats you can book a boat trip there.
It's around 45/50 tl each and they will slot you in and usually have a maximum of around 12 people.
Minimum is 10 to get that price each.

Highlander -

Thanks very much for the offer, but we are not sure as to what days we want to do trips. Although we are looking to do at least 2 trips per week for our stay in Calis..

regards steve
